An authentic West African mask featuring an Adinkra symbol. This mask is hand carved out of Sese wood by master Ghanaian artisan Theophilus Sackey. The mask is embellished with aluminum and alludes to ritualistic African scarification. Our Swords of War mask features an Adinkra Akofena symbol on its forehead. Akofena is a symbol of courage, valor and heroism. It can also represent the authority of the state. It measures 17 inches (Height) x 5.5 inches (Length) x 2.4 inches (Diameter).
